As
teenagers we always feel so left out either at school, extra mural activities,
youth groups or etc. and its normal J but what do you do then?? I’ve felt
so left out and I talked to all my friends about it and we came up with a step
by step ‘recovery route’…
Step 1
BE
REALISTIC- don’t cry over those friends who ditch you all the time and don’t care
about you! Don’t bother wasting your time on them. Admit to yourself that they
are horrible friends and stop trying to make them good friends!
Step 2
LOOK
CLEARLY AT SITUATION-if you’re in a new area you can’t just expect to make
friend quickly. It takes time to make real friends rather wait the befriend people
you barely like.
Step 3
SMILE-smile
is the second best thing you can do with your lips. So why waste it. Trying
passing a smile to any stranger you never know how long it will take for them
to come up and strike a convocation with you. Who knows that stranger could
become a best friend. It also helps you think about good thoughts than bad
ones.
Step 4
Avoid
unsociable activities- some things are just not do able when you with people
for example reading your book or texting to friends. DON’T DO IT! No one likes
talking to someone who is texting or reading a book it’s a no no when you want
to make friends.
Step 5
BE PROACTIVE-Try going to functions or matches.
Were ever you might just meet people. The more they see you they might just
appear to talk to you. They can’t avoid you forever.
